VP of Engineering
This is an incredible opportunity for a technology-passionate individual to be a member of the core team and to further build out our product and engineering team. You should be a team player and a self-motivated person, working together on solving challenging real-world robotic problems.
Your role
The successful candidate should be a skilled Senior developer with strong expertise in Robotics, able to develop and optimize real-time flight algorithms spanning topics such as computer vision, SLAM, sensor fusion, motion planning, and control.
- Instruct and supervise for a robust, efficient, and well-tested code.
- Develop and demonstrate a deep understanding of core robotic principles and how UAS operates in autonomous mode.
- Capable of developing an integrated architecture between SW/HW robotics.
- Be flexible to collaborate on whichever problems we might encounter outside the field of expertise.
- Participate in missions for testing the systems in real-world environments.
Your profile
- MSc./Ph.D. in Robotic Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Robotics-related degrees.
- Direct hands-on experience with implementing computer vision, SLAM, sensor fusion, motion planning, or control algorithms on a product.
- Previous 5+ years of UAS experience in autonomous operations.
- Good software engineering foundation and committed to supervise and test well-structured code.
- Good proficiency in C++ and Python in ROS environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- A good team player willing to work in a dynamic and ambitious team.
- Proven working experience in mobile robotics is a prerequisite.
- Excellent communication skills in English.

Full Stack Engineer
This is an incredible opportunity for a Full Stack Engineer for the R&D office of VERTLINER in Athens, Greece. You will enable the development and deployment of novel technology offerings, and ensure that the project is successfully executing on the wide range of projects being worked. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable with front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. If you’re also familiar with Agile methodologies, we would like to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Design client-side and server-side architecture.
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
- Create security and data protection settings.
- Write technical documentation.
Requirements
- MSc./BSc. degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer (Backend/Frontend) or similar role.
- Knowledge of web frameworks (e.g. Laravel).
- Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. PHP, Python).
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL), web servers and UI/UX design.
- Familiarity with Cloud-based platforms (G-Cloud/AWS/Azure)
- Should have a complete understanding of automated processes for building testing, documenting, and deploying it at scale.
- Awareness of security concerns is important, as each layer has its own vulnerabilities.
- Excellent communication, analytical, organisational and teamwork skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language.
