Full Stack Engineer

This is an incredible opportunity for a Full Stack Engineer for the R&D office of VERTLINER in Athens, Greece. You will enable the development and deployment of novel technology offerings, and ensure that the project is successfully executing on the wide range of projects being worked. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable with front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. If you’re also familiar with Agile methodologies, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Design client-side and server-side architecture.
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
• Create security and data protection settings.
• Write technical documentation.

Requirements

• MSc./BSc. degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer (Backend/Frontend) or similar role.
• Knowledge of web frameworks (e.g. Laravel).
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. PHP, Python).
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL), web servers and UI/UX design.
• Familiarity with Cloud-based platforms (G-Cloud/AWS/Azure)
• Should have a complete understanding of automated processes for building testing, documenting, and deploying it at scale.
• Awareness of security concerns is important, as each layer has its own vulnerabilities.
• Excellent communication, analytical, organisational and teamwork skills.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
