VP of Engineering

Your role

The successful candidate should be a skilled Senior developer with strong expertise in Robotics and Cloud programming, able to develop and optimize real-time flight algorithms spanning topics such as computer vision, SLAM, sensor fusion, motion planning, and control.

  • Design robust, efficient, and well-tested code.
  • Develop and demonstrate a deep understanding of core robotic principles and how UAS operates in autonomous mode.
  • Capable of developing an integrated architecture between SW/HW robotics and Cloud technologies.
  • Be flexible to collaborate on whichever problems we might encounter outside the field of expertise.
  • Participate in missions for testing the systems in real-world environments.

Your profile

  • Ph.D./MSc. in Robotic Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Robotics-related degrees.
  • Direct hands-on experience with implementing computer vision, SLAM, sensor fusion, motion planning, or control algorithms on a product.
  • Previous 5+ years of UAS experience in autonomous operations.
  • Good software engineering foundation and committed to writing clean, tested, and well-structured code.
  • Good proficiency in C++ and Python in ROS environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • A good team player willing to work in a dynamic and ambitious team.
  • Proven working experience in mobile robotics is a prerequisite.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

EU Technical Project Manager

This is an incredible opportunity for an innovation PMO to be a member of the R&D team as a Technical Project Manager for EU proposals. You will be part of the R&D team, with knowledge and experience in Proposal writing and development of R&D projects for – mainly but not exclusively – EU based calls.

Your role

  • Identification of interesting funding opportunities for the company and its customers.
  • Development of innovative concepts, analysis of EU call requirements.
  • Building and management of multidisciplinary consortia.
  • Proposal development for collaborative projects.
  • Budget structuring, design, and analysis.
  • Monitoring of EU and National funding opportunities.
  • Active participation in internal and external brainstorming sessions.

Your profile

  • Ph.D./MSc. in Robotic Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Robotics-related degrees.
  • 1-3 years of proven experience in proposal writing of Horizon 2020 proposals
  • Experience in other EU and National funding instruments is a plus
  • Experience as Project Manager of EU-funded projects is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Communicate at Cx level and possess networking skills
  • Advanced understanding of Robotic related technologies, like AI/ML, Edge/cloud computing, Big Data, IoT.
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent use of English (oral, written, understanding)
  • Team player as well as being able to work independently and self-managed
  • Strong presentation, organizational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage tasks and issues, meet deadlines, follow through on commitments, and take corrective action in a proactive manner where appropriate.

Junior Full Stack Developer

This is an incredible opportunity for a Junior Full Stack Developer for the R&D office of VERTLINER in Athens, Greece. You will enable the development and deployment of novel technology offerings, and ensure that the project is successfully executing on the wide range of projects being worked. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable with front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. Requirements
